Artist commentary: "Touching again on my own experiences (and a lot of other individuals I’ve spoken with). A lot of people don’t fully understand how things like anxiety work. That’s why education and conversation is so important. Anxiety specifically can present itself as an array of physical symptoms as well such as rapid heartbeat, sweating, dizziness, even an upset stomach. So, rather than telling someone who experiences anxiety or panic attacks that “it’s all in your head” or simply “don’t worry”, acknowledge that you are with them, even when things feel overwhelming (because when you have an anxiety disorder, even the easiest tasks can feel like a lot)."
