Haley Kennedy
British Columbia-based digital illustrator Haley Kennedy aspires to create visual pieces that uplift and inspire. Through her use of hand-lettering and color, she hope's to spread messages of hope, positivity, and self-care with the world. Drawing inspiration from her own mental health journey, Haley creates art work as a tool both for healing, and creating an open dialogue surrounding things like anxiety and depression.
How did you start making art that empowers people?
I really dove into creating work after a particularly tough year dealing with my anxiety, and depression. At first it was a way for me to heal, and process what I was feeling, but over time it became a way for me to reach others with those same messages.
